Painting
I am a landscape artist first and foremost, taking my inspiration from the spaces that are special to me. Colour is key. Ultimately I am not trying to recreate the look of a place but how it felt to be there.
About The Artist
I was a broadcaster before studying for a BA and then an MA in Fine Art at Winchester School of Art, graduating in 2007. Since then I have exhibited throughout the UK and Europe with a large solo exhibition at Southampton City Art Gallery in 2018. I am based on the Hampshire/Wiltshire border with downland as my outdoor sketching studio. I also regulalry paint in Cornwall and Jersey where my family are based.
