Contemporary Art & Craft Fair at the Sir Harold Hillier Gardens, Romsey
Wow what a weekend we had!
We were delighted to welcome so many of our members to exhibit at our Artful Summer Weekend event as well as a few guest artists. Here’s a just a few images from the weekend….
The Exhibition Space showcased some wonderful 2D work by some of our artists including Artful Collective members Evelyn Bartlett, Margot Eardley, Sandra Binney, Caroline Hiron, Sarah Mander, Jo Morley, felt artist Sarah Waters, jeweller Georgina Ettridge and guest artist Sentimental Castings.
The Courtyard featured some fabulous sculpture by Artful members Susie Highfleild Ceramics and Darren of Dasculpted, as well as guest artists Rusticmania and Little Duck Forge.
Over in the Education Centre we showcased more wonderful work by many of our members including Chilli Fox Designs, Dawn Gear Jewellery, Nicky Heard Artist, Hilary Everest – Printmaker, Mike Braisher New Forest Potter, Butterwood, Rachel Gray Ceramics, Faye Benjamin Jewellery, Love flo Jewellery, Colville & Gibbs. We were also delighted to have guest artists, Yooneeyak Bags, Anne-Marie Marshall Fieber, Ping & Lilly and Pippaluk Crafts join us for the weekend.
Artisan Products
A new addition to our event, were other local artisan products, including Bees and Botanicals, Ginny’s Diary, River Test Distillery, Happy Adjika and Crepe Britain.
Family Art Activities
Not only is our mission to bring local artists and makers work to the attention of a wider audience but we also aim to engage people of all ages in family art activities. This time we took inspiration from the gardens and used leaves for inspiration.
