Printmaking
The main focus of Jo’s work is on the design and production of very detailed reduction linocut prints using quality inks and acid free archival materials. She loves bright bold colours and structure. This results in work that depicts intricate, delicate features and textures and the myriad of colours found in her subject matter. Jo also produces hand block printed and hand painted fabrics and designs using pastels, crayons, acrylic, watercolour and gouache paints. She is a keen hiker across hills and coastal areas. This provides creative stimulation and the opportunity to observe, sketch and record ideas in situ. Products include framed, mounted prints, cards, homewares, gifts, decorative accessories.
