Printmaking
Jo is an Artist Printmaker based in Southampton. Her specialism is linocut but she loves to explore and combine other printmaking processes in her work. Jo is inspired by nature, and finding beauty in the everyday. She trusts and enjoys the process of making art and aspires more to let her intuition lead the way.
About The Artist
Jo graduated with a BA (hons) in Textile Design in 1993. She specialised in print and has always loved pattern and colour which is a big influence in her work. She is a fully qualified teacher with a portfolio career, teaching all ages, abilities and groups of people. Jo is often involved in community projects and workshops. She takes on commissions for all sorts requests and client needs, from book illustration, painted canvas, personal illustrations and linocut prints. She enjoys a challenge and developing her portfolio, working intuitively whilst staying true to herself.
