Jo Richards is the designer‑maker and Senior Silver Clay instructor behind Faye Benjamin Jewellery. About The Artist

Jo has been designing and making jewellery since the mid‑nineties and working with Silver Clay since 2006. She founded Faye Benjamin Jewellery in 2015, naming it after her two children, Faye and Ben (in case you were wondering!). She holds a BA (Hons) Degree in Design & Technology, City & Guilds Levels 2 and 3 in Jewellery Design & Silversmithing, and the Art Clay Diploma Levels 1, 2 and Higher – the Higher Diploma awarded to fewer than 150 people worldwide. She also mentors for the Jewellers Academy and is qualified in adult education through the AET Level 3 Award.

Jo is a Member of the Association for Contemporary Jewellery, the Guild of Jewellery Designers and AMCAW (Alliance for Metal Clay Arts Worldwide).

As a Senior Silver Clay instructor, Jo runs workshops across Hampshire and the surrounding counties, offering friendly, welcoming sessions where students can enjoy the mindful pleasure of making something by hand.
