Printmaking
Sarah’s work is about human endeavour and man-made environments from dockyards to circus tents. Sarah creates Etchings, Collagraphs and Collages. Her work is sometimes printed using the viscosity method of printing. This technique creates vibrant colours and glazes in her finished prints. Sarah’s most recent works are a combination of original prints and collage on the theme of Dockyards inspired by the coastal industry around Southampton. Another recent series are collagraphs with Circus as the theme. Here she uses her own photographic imagery, especially printed elements and selected collage papers with dramatic composition and bold colours.
