Sue is a self-taught artist with a passion for watercolour which enables her to push boundaries and experiment with her view of the world, whilst consciously maintaining the uniqueness of watercolour with its translucency and unique properties. The natural world is translated into a free-flowing translation of memories and emotions.
About The Artist
I am a self taught artist, with a passion for watercolour and a mission to exploit it’s subtle power that often goes unnoticed. Watercolour may seem gentle, but it carries a quiet strength within it.
I have been painting for many years and am lucky enough tohave a studio in Havant where I paint, teach and exhibit. I like to work with a limited palette and explore different substrates to push my techniques further.
